Conroy, 41, emerged as a candidate at App State after leading the Bulldogs to a 20-13 record and the first postseason tournament in school history last season, his third at his alma mater.App State officials interviewed Conroy and at least two other candidates last week, according to various reports. Conroy has not commented publicly about the App State job, which has been open since Houston Fancher was fired on March 16.

UPDATE: The Winston-Salem Journal is reporting that former ASU coach, Buzz Peterson, has taken the job and will be introduced at a press conference tomorrow.
