"He was a popular student on campus in addition to being a member of the men's basketball team. It never is easy when any life is lost, but it is more difficult to lose one of such great promise."

Sad News
I decided this needed it's own post.
I just wanted to send out my thoughts and prayers to the family of NC State women's basketball Kay Yow, who passed away on Saturday morning. Yow (a UNCG Distinguished Alumni Award recipient) was a great coach, a great person and an inspiration to everyone. Hopefully, the money that the "Pink" games that she helped start (almost every college and high school team in the country now plays these games) will allow a cure for cancer to be found soon.
