Thoughts
Since I had a long ago planned (post) Valentine's Day date for Saturday night, I missed this game completely. Sounds like it a was a good thing. The Spartans couldn't hang on to the halftime lead they had built. The good news was that Trevis Simpson returned from the toe injury that kept him out of Wednesday night's contest against Charleston.
The bad part about the loss was that after Elon fell in overtime to Western Carolina, a Spartan win would have clinched the North Division title outright. However, UNCG will have another opportunity to clinch the division on Tuesday night at home against Wofford.

Tough loss for the Spartans. Way to many turnovers. Sloppy Sloppy Sloppy.
I'll be there Tuesday vs. Wofford. GO SPARTANS!
There are five things I noted from listening to the game and reviewing box score. Simpson took more shots than the entire starting lineup-)(5 for 18) I wish he would elevate and take more shots from 10 to 15 feet and around the basket- He is a good player but at times his shot selection can hurt the team. Parker did not a shot in 22 minutes of play- Where was Armstrong last night? (1 for 8) What did they do to stop him. The good news is Henry appeared to play a good game again and Kyle Randall continued his good play. See You at the Game Tuesday for the clincher. Bob
Sorry about the post Trevis- I did not account for your injuries- Missed you badly against Wofford- Certainly do enjoy watching you play. Bob
