One of my favorite non-SoCon blogs is the Wake Forest slanted Blogger So Dear. I did a fun Q&A with them a few years ago when the Demon Deacons made the short trip over to the Greensboro Coliseum to play UNCG. Since then I've kept up with their blog closely.
Over the past two years, Wake has fallen on some hard times. The decline started after the 2009-2010 season when they fired Dino Gaudio for hodge-podge of reasons. Since then the program there has turned into a massive rebuild project under the direction of Jeff Bzdelik.
Today, Martin Rickman of Blogger so Dear wrote an interesting blog post comparing what he's seen out of new UNCG coach Wes Miller to the Deacs and Jeff Bzdelik. It's fun to see our team through an outsider's eyes. Plus, I always like it when people in the area realize that there is college basketball being played in other places than Durham and Chapel Hill (*cough* N&R, W-S Journal *cough*).
