Thoughts
It's the same script as last Monday. Play well at times. Lead at times. Make exciting plays. But in the end, the Spartans couldn't make enough plays to pull out the win.

This time, the defense is clearly the sore spot. The Scarlet Knights shot over 57% and ti really wasn't just a hot shooting team. Mostly it was getting easy shots and lay ups. For the second straight game, it was a problem for UNCG to keep a quick guard in front. The major problem was that this time, the opponent had two super quick guards. Those two players alone scored 49 of 87 Rutgers points.

So, it again comes down to the same thing, UNCG has got to close teams out. I hope they start soon.
