Thoughts
UNCG got hit with an ambush on Saturday night. 5,000 rabid fans and a determined basketball team dressed in black were waiting to jump them at McKenzie Arena. When they did jump them, it was almost a complete knockout. Through 10 minutes, UNCG had 3 made baskets and 8 turnovers. But the Spartans got up off the mat to take a 1 point lead at halftime and a 10 point lead in the second half.

The game ended in a scenario that has played out for the Spartans a lot over the past month and a half. Trevis Simpson made a big basket, Derrell Armstrong made a driving layup and David Williams made a block to preserve the win.

Elon lost at Samford earlier in the day. So, the UNCG win put them alone in first place in the North division by 1 game with 4 to play. This season appears to be coming down to the regular season finale in Burlington to decide the North Division Champion.

G wins 2 of the last 4 and they are guaranteed a bye! Might only have to win 1 or none if everything else plays out right. (i think)

Great win--- Two more big home games==I hope everybody is plann ing to take the short trip to Elom for the final game- They have a good gym and easy free parking. Twelve dollar tickets and twenty dollars Court side It will definately be a lot of fun.I would like to go to Asheville for the tournament. This team has accomplished quite a bit. There fun to watch. Need to continue to make adjustments because our opponents are continuously making adjustments. Apparently they were all over Armstrong last night. We have to move the ball- We have other people that can help. Randall played a good game. Great coaching job and don't forget our athletic director who made the bold move mid-season.

Dash-- Our friend from Mocs-Mania predicted the final score last night- he just had it backwards.
