Thoughts
Let's start by stating the obvious ... UNCG has very little to actually play for tonight. Whatever the outcome, UNCG will be playing at noon next Saturday as the #1 seed from the North Division. Elon has a ton to play for. They are in teh middle of a fight for the other of the North Division bye. This is their Senior Night and final home game. They are calling the "white out" for this game. Please note that UNCG beat Chattanooga on their "black out" night.

But this is a rivalry game that always turns out to be close. Both of these schools have very similar stats and they played to a close game way back in December.

For UNCG it would be nice to get back on that winning track. The Saprtans have dropped their last 2 games against good teams from the South Division. However, I think that UNCG's fortunes may ride on whether Trevis Simpson see action in this game. According to the UNCG website, he will be a gametime decision.

I just got back from Elon- The game was sold out-Lucky to get a standing room ticket-We had a great fired up crowd from UNCG- Our program has turned the corner. The UNCG people were hollering and screaming the whole game- Our team
played very hard-Elon has a very good team especially at home- I am very surprised by their recent struggles---Our big men had their problems- No offense production from at least two players--Hopefully, over the summer we can find a big man that can score and take some of the pressure off Armstrong and Simpson--May consider inserting Paulos in starting lineup now. We need more offense. It looked like Simpson played pain free- He appeared to have a new pare of grey snickers he was wearing-Prior to the game I heard the Elon assistant coach in person talk to a group of Elon supporters- He said they had really prepared themself for Simpson and Armstrong who were very good players- He joked that Simpson believed he was in his shooting range we he stepped off the team bus prior to the game. We won most of the game after falling behind 21 to 2-This team is doing the best they can-All we can ask is they continue to play hard and continue to represent the University to the best of their ability- The UNCG basketball tradition has just begun- I will see all Spartan fans in Asheville.

Tough loss. Elon fans were arrogant and rude. I wanted us to win so bad, even more because of the rude fanbase. It looked like a high school gym.

LETS GO UNCG!!

Blue and Gold!! Go win the SoCon
