I am very proud of the team- Great effort on everyone's part- Henry played out of this world. Men its a lot better to kick butt then to have ones butt kicked when it comes to athletics and yes you can be a good sport and win win, win. Charleston seemed disinterested for large parts of the game. Wiggins played terrible. Sign Wes now.

Dash: I think it would be a good idea to interview our athletic director. I recently e-mailed her about the team and she responded and answer my questions-- One question for her would be-- Is the school going to make a long term commitment to Division 1 basketball?- My only concern is hard economic times and what happen to wrestling-- In addition when UNC-G finally becomes a huge success their is going to be a backlash from the traditional Carolina supporters-- I saw this happen when Alabama Birmingham established their original great basketball program and the Alabama fans and the Auburn fans no longer felt they were the cute boys on the block. We known what University controls all the funding in this state. Remember our proposed pharmacy school.

That's something that I have already planned to do once the season is over. I'm gonna just enjoy this ride right now and see how long it goeson.

But I do have some similar concerns and comments for her. On the bright side, you are correct that she does respond well the fans and alumni that get in touch with her.

You should also ask her about updating the UNCG logo, its kind of cheesy, I think it might help get more fans aboard and have the program taken more seriously. Also I would like to see G go the way of UNCC. They go by just Charlotte now and I think if UNCG went by just GREENSBORO it would help them stand out on the national stage. I live in WI and no one knows what UNCG is but they have heard of Charlotte.

I would also like to know if G might have any future plans to change conferences to get into a stronger basketball conference. I know our choices are limited with no football team but other schools have one sport in another conference other than the one they are in.

One thing that they have here at UW is fill the bowl night at the kohl center. They sell $1 tickets to the womens basketball and hockey games and get an awesome turnout. I think if G did this it would help build support for the team and get more people to buy tickets to future games. Might as well sell them for a dollar, they are not making any money off of empty seats while even the dollar seats can make a lot of money on concessions and parking.
