UNCG took and 26-20 lead at the half. However, the Spartans got hit with a 21-2 run to start the second half and could never recover.

Positives
- Rebounding, again --- It seem like if there was a bright spot during this season season, it would have to be the work of the Spartans on the boards. UNCG out rebounded the Mocs 43-37 (18-6 offensive). The Spartans had 16 second chance points. The Moccs only had 4.

Negatives
- Shooting --- This is one of many games that UNCG has played this season where they have shot very poorly. UNCG shot 20% (5-25) from behind the arc and 25.8% (17-66) overall. The Spartans will not win any games shooting this poorly. Hopefully, the guys can get their legs back quickly.
- Defense --- The Mocs shot 61.9% (13-21) from the field and 60% (6-10) from 3 point range in the second half.
